torque specs for daizen sway bars
why calling my name again
i know for a fact that on the sc430, you NEED to flip the end links to the other side, coz' if you dont', it will rub against a bolt on the suspension.
but i don't recall reading that on the GS. i can try to see on my gs4 and see if i can find out the answer

bt430's public profile says SC430. So it sounds like rominl's hunch is right. The installation on that thread must be on a SC430.
EDIT: And the thread is in the SC430 forum. Looks like a false alarm, corkycal. Looks like you're being very careful and methodical. You'll be fine.

ahhh, sigh of relief..........
yes jellybean, todd was referring to SC models. I'm glad I did it right and this brings this thread to a closure.

congrats on your new toy.. your install is perfect , thefronts are a direct swap over your rear mount is perfect , just make sure to tighten the rear sway link using the allen key inside the bolt while turning the nut with a 14mm wrench for if its not tight it will come loose quickly.. i see you have put it in the neutral position.. if you are a awake driver , you can put it in the position closest to the bar the aggressive setting and you will be for a real treat around corners , but be careful , the *** end will whip around on that setting..
now you need to finish off your susp with some toms pieces , the 6piece is a requirement and a lower control brace to tie everything together and then you can fool arounf with some of those M series out there
great job bro

anyway, i checked my car, no need to flip the front, just like wht ed said. todd did the install on my car so you know it's right.
I hope it's not too late for this, but I'm compelled to mention something because of the mention of jack-stands in one of the earlier posts.
I'm about 98% positive that you should only tighten you're nuts and bolts to the torque settings when ALL 4 WHEELS are on the ground. True for most suspension related hardware, save for shocks.

ed,
thanks, i've waited long enough for these. the cornering is great! doesn't feel like a boat anymore.
