The larger pad surface area is what helps. People will argue that its not worth the larger rotating mass. They might be right if your trying to knock four hundreths off your ET, but IMO they are worth it for the street.

Well, I think it's worth it because it's lighter than the Supra TTs and give about the same performance...but I was talking about the rear caliper of the LS430... I was wondering if it's much lighter than the gs430s.
Being the front caliper is about 5 pounds lighter than the Supra TT is worth tinkering and making it fit. ...then again, stock setup already works well.

***edited my bad...you were talking about something else. But I'm gonna leave it up because...I think this mod is worth it to tinker around with.

Front Calipers
LS400 95+ = RCAs or grinding required to fit the GS
LS430 = Brakets required to fit the GS
Rear Calipers
LS400 95+ = I would not use them since they are a 1 piston caliper
LS430 = Brakets required to fit the GS. However; there would not be much of a gain in brake performance since GS's rear calipers are already a 2 piston caliper like the Supra TT and LS430, I also doubt there is much of a weight difference. The money you would spend on brakets could be used for something more functional.

I have yet to get to them. I was hoping to turn them out on my mill as the first project, but alas, the blue giant lies still in my garage...still have not hooked up power on account of the kitchen I am supposed to finish first (wife's rules). So alas, no parts yet and I do not want to pull teh triger without protos. So hopfully I get my kitchen done...then this...then...so many other things.
