Default Suspension and ALignment question

Guys i put on my 19's wheels and my car is dropped with Tein CS. I recently did alignment on my car. But now i want to drop my car about a quarter inch on the right passenger side. The right side seems to be 1/4 higher than my left side. I was wondering how much thread i should drop to get the right side even with the left side and after lowering will my alignment be significantly off and if i need to redo alignment or not. Please Help!!!

Tommy

ah tommy, you shouldn't do alignment before you get the height you want. and yeah, you need to drop the car different on all 4 corners to just get the right height all around. you probably need to do that and then get alignmnent again

Tommy, I would say 3-4 threads should be about right. Just remember after adjusting the threads to drive your car around the block to allow everything to settle. Then check your height again... I had the same problem you did...

Since i have messed with my height over 10 times, I agree with ken, 3-4 threads will get it 1/4 of an inch.

my rule of thumb is 75% rule. if you want to lower the car by 1", you lower the coils by 0.75". i find that pretty accurate in my case

maybe the allignment shop will feel sorry for you and redo it. Tell em it's pulling to side? One place here has a six month warranty on allignment?

BTW-do you guys usually go to dealer($110) for allignment or tire shop($45)?

Specialty suspension shop - $200.

BTW - The Lexus dealerships around here charges $150 but usually has "coupons" to bring it down to $99.
