lowering gs
GS 300 2003. i got 20x9 +38 offset with toyo proxes f4. My wheels are flush with the front fender, the back is fine. I went to my local rim shop to lower my gs but they advised me not to because i would rub with the top of the fender. Is this true. i recall someone here saying they had the same setup and lowered their vehicle fine. Do I need to roll my fender to lower my vehicle or with the rim tuck when I go over bumps?
If you are going w/ springs you wont have any problem at all... If you are going w/ coil-overs and you want to totaly slam ur car, then you might have to roll you're fenders.
I have coil overs on my car w/ 9" in the front and i got a lil over an inch gap in front and i dont rub at all.

i have 8.5 32, just the same as yours 9 +38
i lowered with coilover to 1/2 finger, and i rubbed pretty bad. i had to bend and heat gun my fender and now it's ok. if you put on mild springs, it's ok, but if you drop quite a bit with springs, careful, you will rub

EIther way...Roll your fenders....you will probably go with an average drop and over time it will settle and go even lower.......On certain driveways you may rub and pull out the fender when you turn the wheel....JUst to be on the safe side to avoid any of that...roll them.
