Default Installing Tein Flex

How difficult is this to do yourself? Any special tools needed?

Probably just spring compressors and regular tools.

well tein flex is a full replacement. it actually comes pre-assembled already. i think you just need all the toolbox. don't see the need for spring compressors

What about removing the old springs/shocks?

Thanks for the info. keep it coming, I am sure someone on this board has done it themselves. I didn't know if it would be like replacing shocks, bolt in, or if I would need to compress the springs or not? I hate to spend the $$ if it is something I could do in the garage.

Old spring and shocks can be taken off as one piece. Basic hand tools was all that we used. Unbolted stock spring and shocks, then installed coilovers in their place. Less than 3 hrs. taking our time. I waited a month to let the suspension settle before i got an alignment .

well unless you wanna separate the old shocks and springs, otherwise they all come out in one piece and you can just stock it like that
