Post who has a lowered GS?

I have an '03 430 with TRD shocks and sways. I'm curious about the ride in a lowered car.
Do you have to go with 18 inch wheels, or can I keep the 17 inch wheels?

Are the handling and steering improved enough to do it?
Anybody out there within two hours of Phoenix with a lowered GS, please let me know!!

You can keep the 17's with no problem. I did both lowering springs and shocks at the same time, so I can't quantify what the springs alone might do for handling in your situation.

Here are a couple of pics of mine lowered with Eibach springs and OEM 17's.

Unless you want to go wider/bigger for looks, you don't have to go to 18s. The diameter of the wheel should be roughly the same. You get more "metal" vs. rubber by going larger and fill up the wheel well beter with wider. There is also the plus of more contact point with wider.

Bottomline, though, you don't have to.
