My name is zach and i drive a 2000 tundra with the 2uz fe. Not too manny people out there that mod these things. So i figure id post up here bc the 1uz settup is realy similar.

I plan to go boost realy soon. Is annyone on here making good numbers on a 2uz or 1uz

Welcome Zach! Yes post pics! There really aren't local guys that are messing with the UZ motors quite yet. There is a fellow member that is in Gilbert that boosted his 1UZ in his LS400 years ago. But the motor blew and his car has been sitting since. He hasn't been back in a long time..maybe one day he'll get back into it.


BTW you should bring out your truck to one of our local meets sometime. There is one this Wednesday. Sounds like a neat project, we are big fans of that kind of stuff .

Currently working on an sc400 1uz. Finishing up my r154 swap and deciding if i should throw on a set of ppe headers and lsd while im in there, but theyre just so cramped.
Anyways, i plan to twin my 1uz, already have 2 t25, 550 injectors, tt supra FP, stainless headers exhaust plates made,, really need standalone and fab work, but the FI portion wont happen anytime with school and budget purposes
Btw are you on lextreme as well?

I got the money for the build but no one at lextreme will respond to my emails. So im not sure what to do

 

Yeah, im thinking everyone is on vacation because i looked high and low for torque specs and no one responded, finally found the specs and posted it myself for others. You should look through the build threads as there are a lot of useful info. Im not very familiar yet with reading compressor maps, but i know for what i want 2 t25 will be sufficient and enter boost early.

Although i dont know him personally, but if you read up on their products ie v160 1uz adapter id be hesitant to take information from them.
Btw, if i remeber correctly, people on lextreme have recommended the s400 for UZ motors
