Heyarms and I have created an open Facebook group that welcomes all Houston and surrounding Club Lexus members.

Club Lexus - Houston Facebook

The purpose of this group is to help Houston Club Lexus members easily communicate with each other. Since the Southwest regional section of this forum is any BUT active, this Facebook group allows members to easily create meetups, arrange caravans to meets and car shows (Cars n Coffee, PlanetZero, Import Reactor, ect), and answer any Houston specific questions (ex: Where can I get an alignment in the SW area?)

If you join the group, PLEASE type in the group document "MEMBERS" the following: your name, your ClubLexus screen name, and an introduction/mod list of your car.

Glad to see this group (on FB) growing after a few days. We'll try to set up a meet soon (this weekend or next) for anyone available. Check the FB group and this thread.

Great idea with the Facebook page. It'll come in handy when looking for helpful advice where to get my IS's windows tinted around town!

I just asked to join even though I'm in KS since there is no action here.

 

Sorry man, but if you want to get involved with local groups, just try a more active regional section (SoCal/NorCal, Florida, etc). We dont want to clutter our FB page with people we will likely never meet or dont have anything beneficial to add to our group (shop hookups, where to avoid to take your car, car meets, DIY days, etc). The only reason we made a local FB chapter is because our regional section gets no attention, and we are far less moderated on FB which allows us to be a little more colorful in our posts because we wont offend the people reading it (we all know each other in Houston).
