I heard there was a gathering Wednesday nights by North Park mall. From exotics to street racers. I might check it out. More details to follow.

 

Well I know there has to be some stuff going on, but it seems so lo key. I know about Lethal Performance .... my 02 Z28 now is at 691rwhp BUT I don't really trust Lethal so I have go to Victoria , TX and The valley to get my stuff done right. BUT thats just personal opinion.

I know there are fast cars here ....there are fast car (really fast like 10 sec or better) in every big city. Even in laredo and the valley though, there were advertisements on TV and radio all the time about car shows, track events...etc. HERE though....nothing.

I have only been to 4 spurs games, originally I'm from NY and would go see the Knicks/Rangers at the Garden, I've also been to the Suns, Dallas and Houston arenas and it seems that those people are waaaay more into the games and going crazy no matter what team their home team plays against.

My job has taken me to alot of places around the U.S and I can say that from my point of view...SA seems just low key about alot of stuff. Which I don't mind at all...I kinda like that .

 

What time this wednesday is the meet suppose to go down ? And where?

Sunday there is racing going on in the parking lot of Retama Park. Spectating is free. $20 to race. I believe it’s that road track racing. My boy is racing his GTR. So I am just gonna watch. Feel free to come out and check it out. It will be my first event in San Antonio.

Cops know about it and I believe it’s a sanctioned event. by who I have no idea.

Well I'm bringing this thread out of the dead! I'm here for college. I drive a IS350 TP with polished/chrome 19's

 

I am driving a white IS350 dark windows. I have a co worker that keeps begging me to go to the track and see if I can keep up with his Charger.

 

probably beat his charger... even the Hemi's are underpowered for as much as they weigh...

is350 probably has a few tenths to a half second on a Hemi powered Charger in the 1/4 mile...

 

I agree, even though he is pushing 400hp the weight I think will be his worst enemy. I am pushing 300hp and much much lighter than him. I think once I get the intake and exhaust along with the headers I'll take him up on that offer. Kind of scared to get the headers though, don't know what that will do to my MPG. Right now slow is cheaper!

 

I keep passing a IS F in the 1604 / 281 area was wondering if they were on the board.

 

I just moved to san antonio from Germany. I have a 08 IS250 AWD. I feel like I'm the only AWD owner in San Antonio or even Texas. well I thought I was gonna be living where it snowed but oh well..

Anyone care to share how the service at the dealer is?
