Nope! That wasn't me! I drive an obsidian F. Had it shipped from Las Vegas. But I don't think I've seen the silver one! I've only ever seen a couple of them in San Antonio... and I've lived here my entire life!
Thanks! I'll check them out! I appreciate the feedback! I can't wait to hear that V-8 sing! I'm also planning to get headers, an intake, and tune... once finances allow, that is.

Newbie here. Just picked up a 2013 ES300h UL package, with only 27k miles. I was a Lexus virgin, but I own a 2014 Avalon Limited hybrid, Kia Optima EX hybrid, 2007 Tacoma hybrid, and '98 Tacoma PreRunner. Before I'm labeled a treehugger for the 3 hybrids, the only green I care about is the $ saved in my wallet on fuel, with my long commutes from The TX Hill Country to San Antonio daily for work. A comfortable ride is critical on my commutes, and the ES and Avalon are definitely comfy.
The main difference I've noticed is the difference between Toyota of Boerne and both Northparks in SA/Dominion dealerships is at the Toyota dealer, you get your own coffee, at Northpark, they have a barista, better selection, and spotless restrooms. Much more foo foo. Still will always love my Toyotas, and the Optima is dependable, has a killer Infinity sound system, vented/heated front seats, auto wipers, heated steering wheel and wider sunroof(s), and the outside rearview mirrors pull in with a push button when approaching an ATM. All the others require manually pulling them in...not too shabby for a Korean stamped out production car.
Glad to be part of the San Antonio family.

Checking In
Just throwing this out in case anybody's looking (been awhile since a post in here I see). I'm brand new to owning a Lexus and to this forum. Been in San Antonio since retiring from the Marines a few years ago (grew up in Pasadena, east of Houston and came back to Texas). Handed my son the keys to my 2009 Honda Civic so he could drive it to Texas State Tech Coll in the Fall after I found something to rekindle the driving passion. Got a screaming deal on a low mileage 2016 RC 350 F Sport, one owner lease. I buy and keep so I expect to have this for a long time. I've had it about 7 weeks now and really enjoying the heck out of it. Have to say though, I hate the wheels. They're too busy for my taste and a PAIN to clean (with ten split spokes for a total of 20 each wheel).

You're so right about the brake dust, MOSTLY from the front brakes. Unbelievably bad. I'm assuming you just replaced the pads. What did you go with? And how satisfied have you been (performance, squeal, dust)? I should have new wheels in another week or so. Very anxious to get the OEMs OFF. Getting Stance SF03 in brushed titanium finish. I'll post pics when I get 'em on.

Stance wheels and brake pads
SARCF, I out Stance SFO3s in titanium on my RC 350 F Sport and love 'em. Also out Akebono ceramic pads up front. Virtually no dust. Don't squeal and perform just as well as OEM. I'll post pics if I can figure out how. Oh yeah, painted the calipers myself.

Yo! A couple Lexi' in but new to forum
Hey y'all. Our family has a couple of Lexus now, and love it. I am also an admin for the local Lexus Owners Group on Facebook if anyone is looking for something there as well.
