Thanks guys. It is Andy actually but no biggie.

Yeah, sold the wagon after having it for almost 7 years. Miss it daily but I was bored and it really didn't fit the family needs anymore.

The LX is awesome although the abysmal gas mileage is taking some getting used to! Will be keeping it simple other than some bigger all terrain tires and plenty of camping gear up top. I intend to use it for what it was built for!

Hi, new to the forum, been active in the local Landcruiser group/forum and recently added a 2000 Rx to the family so I thought Id check out the local forum. There are some real nice rides in the pictures for the AZ chapter. I posted up only a couple times and here is one of the posts about my new 20" wheels> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...-fit-pics.html

I just replaced the taillights with the led sets and have already had the grill, front and rear bumper, and side cladding all repainted.
Shes looking better all the time!

Tomorrow morning, Im replacing all the door speakers and seeing if I can take the signal to the under seat sub (Nakamichi system) and wire it to a 10" boxed sub and see how it performs.

I read somewhere where the Nakamichi door speakers are individually powered by individual amps so speaker replacement is not recommended. Im not sure if that is accurate, but ILl find out when I take the panels off tomorrow. Ill post up what I find and if I get improvement in the sound.

I just put the led taillights in. I love the look - lenses are slightly smoked.

BTW, I can get a brand new set of venza whels and tires in the 20" like pictured on mine with rims, tires, lugs all BRAND NEW for $950 if anyone locally is interested.

Also, I recently sold my '97 SC400 and bought this...

Congrats Kyle! What made you choose the IS over the GS? Where did the SC go? Local buyer?

BTW I forgot that you had a Land Cruiser.

Well, my wife doesn't care for the 3GS for some reason. I kept looking anyway hoping to find a white GS430 with black interior (hard to find) and go the classy cruiser route, but in the back of my mind I also wanted to go faster. My wife kept asking me to consider an IS350, so I drove a couple and ended up liking it. It kinda feels a little like a tin can after driving the SC, but it's a really nice car nonetheless. So I was searching for a GS and an IS at the same time and this one popped up. I couldn't pass on it. I've had it a couple weeks now and am really enjoying it. It's a pretty quick car and it handles really nice. Going to keep going with the sport route for it and see how it goes.

BTW - I actually sold the SC400 to the guy I originally bought it from. The car is in great hands and could actually resurface one of these days at a meet or something with even more love than before.
