Default Houston Clear Bra Shops?

Does anyone know of a good shop that installs clear bras in Houston or Austin? How much should I be expecting to dish out for this? Id like to get my bumper and part of my hood done. Whats the best kind to use that wont start to yellow? Thanks for your help!

I got ClearShield on the front end, side mirrors and front lights at Xpert Tint in Houston at SW Frwy and 59 for around $700. No problems yet (including no yellowing) and no chips in the front paint either! Phone number is 281 575 0371.

It is pricey, but I also don't have any paint chips on the front end of my $50k car.

Seriously, I drive down a freeway every day that has a lot of commercial traffic. My 2GS had chips all over the front from stuff kicked up by trucks. So, it's been worth it to me.

Maybe someone else will chime in with another place,....

PS - what's funny is that when I posted about it in the 3GS forum, they asked why I didn't do the whole hood and rest of the car!!

Lol. Yeah I called them a couple days ago and asked for a quote for the bumper and half the hood and they said it would be around 400 if I remember correctly.

+1 for XPert Tint. Ask for Sunny and see if he will give you a discount. They do great work -- had both my cars done there and when the original Venture shield on my GS started to yellow, they replaced it right away under warranty and used the 3M instead.

Yes it is expensive, but cheaper than re-painting your bumper/hood/fenders/mirrors.... well worth it!
