OK, it appears we just can't get this Dallas area meet pulled together. I am going to try to do it via Email. I have contacted several of you already and have you all on the list. I have 7 right now on the list. If you have not received the email from me and would like to get on the list, PM me your email address and name. We then need to finalize a date and location. With this being summer, I know a lot of folks are pretty busy on the weekends and I am thinking a Sunday would be the best. We also have to keep in mind that our Mav's are in the finals and we will have to pick a date that does not conflict with any of the games. So, lets get this thing going.

there is a big lexus gathering at a car meet tonight starting 8:30pm (wednesday) in lewisville near a sonic that is one exit away from 35 and 121 i believe.

I met you at the Toyota meet in Addison about a month ago. I believe you had the new IS? How did you hear about this meet in Lewisville and why did you wait until now to let us all know? LOL

 

i find out about the meets last minute since i was actually visiting from houston. there were about 6 lexus' total on wed night. i'm already back in houston.. but there is some type of meet this saturday in dfw. just call or pm some of the dallas/is300 guys you met from the other meet.

 

I will be in dallas from the 3rd through the 12th. I would love to come to another dallas meet. Catch up on old times with old friends.

 

I have been trying to get something pulled together but it is just not happening. I will be on vacation from July 6 through the 15th so if we have a meet during that time, I cannot attend. With the kind of heat we have been having lately I doubt anyone wants to stand around outside looking at cars. We may have to wait until the fall. I really need to get some feedback from folks about where and when we could put something together. If we wanted to do something soon, I think the best would be Sunday afternoon.

You are correct. Since we are Lexus owners any get togethers must be called "Meets" or "Gatherings". Anything else would be uncivilized !
