Hey fellow AZ drivers,

Just wanted to say hello. I am new to CL and Lexus all together (I have had my ES350 for three weeks now). Haven't started modding since their isn't much out there yet but might be asking for advice along the way.

Welcome to CL! I've been wanting to check out one of the new ES's - they look a million times better than the last body style! Congrats!

How did you hear about CL? What part of AZ are you in?

Cliffud - Thanks for the invite, sorry I missed the shoot - maybe next time

4GRAINR - My dealer (Lexus of Chandler) suggested CL for tips and to meet other ES350 owners. I live in Casa Grande and work/play in Temp/Auwatukee area.

Hey CG, the photoshoot was today! Too bad you couldn't make it. We were out near the DC Ranch area up in North Scottsdale.

Hope you can make it out next time.

CG - who did you buy the car from over @ Chandler? I've spoken with Michael Kennedy a couple times and he seemed really cool. When I asked around about CL over there most of them said they'd never heard of it. I'm curious about who gave you the "heads up". I've never had my car serviced there, but the parts people are friendly.

4GRAINR (Zach),

Anthony Valenti (Sales and Leasing) was who I talked to and who I bought the car from. He heard about CL from a couple customers. If you are ever in the market for a new Lexus I highly recommend talking to Anthony, he is a great guy, easy to deal with and very knowledgeable.

Ben in the Service department and Shane Schaefer in Sales are good people too.

I had a 93 SC300 and dropped a 1JZ into it. I sold it already and I am working on my second swap. A 94 GS300 with an Aristo 2JZ. The shop I use is Arizonadynochip in Chandler.

How much would they charge for a 1jz-gte swap and manual conversion?

I think Kaiser did the swap himself, and I think his car was already a 5spd.

Juan, you don't exactly have the best of luck with cars in general. I'd have to say it's a better idea to only mess with one car at a time.
