Not even close. LeMans prototypes corner at speeds bikes can't even dream about. Downforce doesn't work for two wheels, but man oh man does it make four wheels blisteringly fast.

Yeah, if bikes tried to corner at the same speeds, they'd slide right off the track, lol. In the high speed cornering game the big boys run at, aka LeMans prototypes, 4 wheels and downforce beats 2 wheels any day.

It's gonna be either April or May. That is when I can start cashing in my vacation days. I would like to plan a NC trip and we can do part of the leg that is not as filled with motorcycles. I am emailing the events coordinator for tail of the dragon to see which days and where would be suitable for us to drive and have fun. I am also looking to get a cabin to hit the rapids at Nantahala if anyone is interested also.

Thanks, will update with this info. I checked their website. Still not much info as of yet, like entry cost, and which parking lots at Turner Field will be open. I would have preferred it stay at the GWCC parking deck since there is shade and a food court nearby.
