This meet was great.
The bikers was taking picture of us driving by and the cop stop by to check out the cars. I hope somebody taking the picture of the cop's talking to Jazzi ..He just loves the cars and we forgot to take the picture with him.

Default Thanks Dave and Ethan

I wanted to take the time to thank both Dave and Ethan for organizing this meet. After seeing Dave's post on the other ".net" board, I decided to give the meet a try.

Thank you for making me feel so welcome in your group's meet. I enjoyed meeting all of you.

As a day tripper, I met up with the group at lunch time. The drive was absolutely amazing. I managed to get my Dunlops to squeal a couple of times.

I am looking forward to seeing you all next year, hopefully with a couple more IS300 participants.

I am working on photoshopping out the Port-O-Potty from the lake pictures and will post the results soon.

Thanks again,

Hilary

I can't help it. All those who missed this
meet really missed out. I mean really.

Those with mechanical problems precluding
their attendance are excused (GA400).

Next time...

Check out everyone's pics in the gallery.

Everybody sing along:
porta-potty-photo-shop, doo-dah, doo-dah

edit- Thanks DrRick...I just read your post. Hey, I
was just trying to keep up with all you GS owners.

Paddy Wagon,

Thanks for the excused absence - I am still deeply bummed out that I missed it. Oh well, gives me a little more time to figure out how to do some mods to my LS (muhahaha) when I get it back from the shop. By the looks of those roads, I definitely need some stickier tires.

I am glad you guys had a blast, I am sure when we have the next Atlanta meet I will get to hear some stories from Bit and 1SickLex, DrRick, etc. (all the usual suspects :-)

Peace,

GA400

Now that was fun. I must say I had a wonderful time. It was the perfect weekend until I had to drive back for my wedding ring after we got to ATL! Anyways I posted some pics, the tunnel one is there if you click on it, and there maybe about three that have to be move into the meet gallery. I'll post more later, but now I must step back into the shadows before I'm overexposed.

O.K. The pic is in a mirror.
That means it's backwards or flipped, whatever.

But dang, it looks like no one is driving your car Doc!

I keep thinking about this trip because it now seems like it was all over so quickly that I couldn't absorb it all while it happened.

I still find it hard to believe I drove through that Tail Of The Dragon so fast, chasing an NSX in front, and Dex on my tail (most of the time )! It was INCREDIBLE!

My only wish is that the trip had been a bit longer so I could done things like have had a swim and lazed by the pool for a bit, and maybe done a bit more sight seeing since the area is so beautiful. I wish I'd got a picture of that dam.

I saw we go back next year, and stay at the Topoco Lodge right by the 'run'.

I agree. We'd need a good week to take in all the good stuff around that area. You know, the Herb Shops, and the like.

That was on purpose. Being right on your bumper, at those speeds, around blind corners....baaad things man.
