Hey everybody, I know I've been away for a whille but I'm back to say what's up. I've been playing around with my other toy, it's not new anymore but it was to me. The toy is a GSXR1000 and Tee and confirm my sudden interest.

Anyway, I've been in the mountains alot on the bike and I've been missing the GS up in the twisties. I've been on a few mountain runs in the past and I love them, especially when we went to the Dragon a few years back. Sooo...I'm thinking of getting a mountain run together for the CL/SELOCers and wanted to see if anyone was interested in doing one. As I said before I've been on a few of them in the car and bike so I know alittle about what can make the time easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

The mountain run would be in about two groups. One group would be the fast(er) past cars and those that have been on mountain runs or track days in the past. The second group would for those that being up in the mountain will be there first time. This would be the beginners, and slower paced group.

This is just to gage interest to see how many would like to go. I don't have a day or time planned. So just let me know if you have any interest.

I was thinking about going up through Blood mountain first, down the other side to a couple more mountain roads. There is a road called the skyway we could take, very nice sweepers and scenery. The dragon is not too far from that point but just wanted to get an idea of who would be interested.

I'm down to meet up with the OG's if there's a good amount of interest. Jeremy and I tried setting up a group run about two years ago and lots of people showed interest but then when the time came, alot backed out. I guess it's time we do it again.. And I'm ready to chase you down the dragon this time around Lexizm.. I've been working hard to make my little GS300 a little faster to hang with you V8 boys..

Hey guys, just wanted to chime in on the mountain run interest...I am feeling next Sunday the 5th...there is an awesome gathering of cars at the Avenue from 8-11am, and I was thinking that would be a great starting point...we could grab some breakfast/coffee, meet some local members, check out some great cars, maybe get some group pics, and then head north to cruise through the mountains...

Lets get something going!!!

 

Just wanted to give a heads up eric. I was up in the mountain for thanksgiving and it's no good now. Early morning is freezing cold and has slight frost on the roads with lots of leaves. Too slippery of an condition for us to drive it hard out there like how we use to drive.. So I guess it's going to have to wait until next spring.

 

Supposed to be decent weather this weekend, especially in the afternoon time when we would be getting up there...I am still going with a couple of my friends
