this would be a good trip. i only thing about staying in a cabin is that alot of them are hard to get to(atleast the ones we stay in when we go skiing up that way) and they are not lowered car friendly by any means. but i deff like the cabin idea.

 

So who's coming along to the dragon with us next weekend? Let me know so that I can expect you guys.

 

Ok guys, the plan for the dragon will go as follow: 1.) Meet up in charlotte either on friday afternoon and hang out and inspect our vehicle prior to leaving to the dragon. 2.) Leave charlotte early saturday morning at around 4 A.M. for those that want to head up there with the caravan leaving from charlotte. 3.) Drive on the dragon for part of the morning and have lunch. 4.) After lunch, we will drive on the cheroholla(sp) parkway which will give lots of scenic route. 5.) Return back to the microtel to shower and kick back and have dinner. 6.) Wake up early sunday morning and head up to the dragon for another early morning drive. 7.) Then we pack up and head home at around noon or so.

Hey dave, could you send me the direction for the long scenic route that we took last year on the Cherohola parkway please. I'm looking to drive that route again.

 

If I can find the folders I can try to get you hardcopy you could come pick up. - may have been posted in prior years threads.
