Default Hendrick Lexus Maintenance Prepay

I don't know if many dealers are now offering this so I wasn't sure on where to post this question. Hendrick Lexus in NC now offers a maintenance prepay program. It looks like a pretty good deal if you don't mind paying for your maintenance years in advance. In return, they give you a 30-40% discount on maintenance as well as locking in today's prices. The discount varies based on how many miles of service your willing to prepay.

Anyone buy into the program at Hendrick or another Lexus dealer? What do you think of it?

Thanks.

Thats sounds pretty kool to me, If you have the extra money, why not go ahead and pay for it.

My wife and I did it on out pre-owned RX330 purchase earlier this year. We haven't driven enough to use it yet [they did your 30k service at ~27k], but it does seem to make good sense on many levels.

I got my CPO IS300 from Hendrick back in March and did the prepay program. I had 55k and it goes til 100k, seemed like a great deal since just 2 oil changes and a timing belt service and it pays for itself.

Call George Stephens at Hendrick Lexus. He's the Sales and Leasing Consultant and he presented it to me. The toll free number is 1-800-277-5398. He'll give you a list of prices and the amount you save over a period of miles. The official name of the program is "Flexible Maintenance Savings".

I haven't signed up for it, but I'm still giving it a little thought. I imagine if your plan is to always take your car to a Lexus dealer for service at the recommended intervals, then this is a pretty good program. But even at the discounted prices $83 is too much for an oil change and tire rotation. But where it probably would pay off is for the larger service items where you most likely would take the car to the Lexus dealer.
