Just as long as its not at the very edge of the wheel well.I have 2 on each side that are driving me crazy!

 

no mine is above where the rear bumper and rear 1/4 connect, right before the chrome strip... basically in the middle.

And John... Lexus' are now Classic Cars... so I think thats why we're not listed in the Upcoming Classic Cars Shows list.

Just a thought.

 

Im going to have Donny from www.tunerzine.com come and do coverage for this event. He would love to do it. I dont think this meet is something tht would be Magazine worthy, but Tunerzine does TOP NOCH pitcures and writeups and their website is setup monthly JUST LIKE a magazine. Ill let you guys know the finaly verdict.....

RE: Lexus/Supra Meet 19th of February 2005

Hello All,

As time is winding down very quickly, I felt the need to clarify the plans for our meet in this letter. From time to time, things seemed to have changed pending the communication between organizers of the events and the participants being everyone who is reading this. I believe that an itinerary is perfect for the days out come which of course does not have to be followed but its purpose is only to be used as a guideline to what we have planned for the day. I was the original person whom contacted Old-Town about using it for our meet, but things got tuff for me with school and everything so I turned it over to Shawn (lexusondubs) who actually made the arrangements for us to be set up for this event. Then came the Charity event in which Matt (bmsport) notified us and to which we have intervened with our schedule to make a nice long day, which will definitely be a great time. Once Again Thanks to Shawn + Matt and all of YOU!

Saturday 19th 2005

1:00 pm – Lexus Meet @ Old-Town Begins (Lot Reserved till 5:00 pm)

2:00 pm – Good time for lunch at one of the restaurants @ Old-Town

4:00 pm – Start the roll out for those that will be attending the Melbourne Charity Car Show

5:00 pm – Est. Time we will be arriving to the Charity Car Show in Melbourne. Roll-In will be handled with Donations (registration) 100% Proceeds go to Charity.

8:00 pm – Around this time would be good for dinner I think. We can all hit up one of the restaurants or we can do the usual Everybody for themselves Dinner.

9:00 pm – Show is over and we can split to do whatever it is we want. Some people maybe headed to the strip club, others to Universal Citywalk / Downtown Disney for some nightlife entertainment.

Sunday 20th 2005

No Plans At This Time. We can arrange something perhaps now or the day of our meet. Just know that there is nothing planned for Sunday.

I'm already signed up for the meet on Feb 19. Is this meet exclusively for Lexus car owners only? Reason I ask is I have a friend with a 350Z that would like to come.

well what im thinking is because there are a lot of people with friends w/ non lexus/supra we will have a section within our own section for them. that way when we take pictuers and stuff well have all the lexus' grouped .. know what i mean? but most certainly the charity show its whoever with whomever. at old-town were gonna try to keep it lexus/supra but rest assure we will make an area for friends + fam

After the show in melbourne, I plan on heading back over to Orlando and probably hitting up The Corner w/ the fuel **** people. If any of you Orlando people want to join me (scott, john, peter, and who ever else i forgot) your more than welcome to.

As for Sunday, ill be at the airport waiting for my plane back to Pennsylvania so thats a no can do for me.

ps- I might have a few new goodies (polished parts and spark plugs) to go on my car friday night when I get in town

 

i love the planned out schedule, makes things esier to know where we should be. i wondor tho isn't the charity show ending sometime around 10 or 11pm. i would really likeknow of some hotels inthe area cuz its going to be a long day and if i make it up i might just crash the night.

 

the only thing i wonder is ... is it going ot be ok to roll into the show 2-3 hours after it starts?

 

well matt (bmsport) knows i believe he has made arrangements for our arrival...


as for accomidations, i think it depends on where you plan on heading after the charity show... if you plan on staying out in melbourne then matt may know of something. otherwise i was just talking to Mario from S.Fl and he was thinking about doing something around orlando and then perhaps do a park on sunday....
