2jzgte alone will cost you 2500-3500, plus another 1600-3000 for a 6 speed. You can go the cheap route and keep the stock 5 speed from the lexus, but that wont last past 450rwhp. Keep in mind, labor, custom driveshaft with the 6 speed, rear end, axle, etc etc, It all adds up, unless you can get crazy deals like i did

GTE block-500
GTE head with 6 speed harness-800
Came with 264 cams
Greddy single manifold/downpipe/wastegate-1500
SP74-800
Greddy three ROW FMIC-800
Getrag 6 speed-
AEM EMS-1200
Clutch/flywheel-600
rebuilt block labor with JE pistons and ported/polished head (everything brand new) 1350
Ported and gutted intake manifold-Free
83lb injectors, all fuel lines fuel rail, FPR etc etc. complete fuel sytem-FREE (would cost 1600-2300)
and others i can't think of right now.
so far that's around $7550 with a complete practically brand new BUILT GTE motor with getrag and a single turbo kit. Add another 1000 to that for misc items.
All this for a 22 year old college student that works a normal 9-5 job. I bought the sc300 for $750 bucks because the guy thought the motor was bad....was missing a spark plug. I fixed it and drove it, everything works. interior is mint, paint is decent (rare navy blue) etc etc.
SIngle gte powered sc for under $10000..shooting for 650rwhp when completed before the new year. (hopefully)
ALl i'm trying to say is to do it yourself. I have phils ultimate lexus book that tells you how to do that swap yourself, but it will cost you. I payed for it and dont need it anymore.
Search for your own parts and save a ton.
Also, the car you might be buying isn't red and white is it? if so, it's missing ALOT of parts.
