I really don't understand why ClubLexus didn't create a "Lexus Car Chat" for general discussions for Lexus only and keep all the non-Lexus cars/topics to say "The Clubhouse" forum. This new "Car Chat" is no different than the old "Lexus Lobby". Why would anyone want to waste his time posting a general Lexus question or topic in this "Car Chat" when it'll get buried with a bunch of non-Lexus topics? If I want to read or post a topic on non-Lexus automobiles like the Hummer, Corvette, BMW, Camrys, .... etc, I would go to the Car and Driver forum instead!

We are a Lexus website. We have forums for questions on Lexus vehicles. There aren't going to be very many topics you can add that won't fall into a catagory under the model forums.

Sorry you don't like it, but like OLT said, there are few posts that are Lexus specific that do not fall into the general model forums (GS, LS, SC, etc) or topic-specific like the maintenance forum.

Why don't you post up some examples of the "general Lexus questions" you have in mind? Sure we get a small flurry of them when JD Powers has a new survey out, but that's the most prolific topic I can think of.

LexusPIA, I hear u and as that specific forum mod, I would like to say the forum is for all car talk. U will see more Lexus threads of course but many here not only own other cars but are all car enthusiests, hence the threads of other cars.
