Default WHY MOVE THIS? How do you adjust the parking brake?

My parking brake must be really off because the parking brake light will come on even when it is all the way down, and I have to raise it up and down a few times to get it to go off. The manual says I need to take it to the dealer.....anyone know how to fix this?

Why did the mod move this to the wheel, brakes section?! I mean come on here....Ive rarely been posting the last few months because the mods then were just bad, simply put. They moved everything. Now I see we have new ones and they do the same thing. Its so stupid to go down a page and see half the threads moved. Like this post is going to get any views in the friggin wheels forum versus here in the SC forum. I didnt even post my model in the post.....which makes moving it really bad. How do I apply to be a mod...we need to get some in here who are going to make the forums run smoothly....
Personally unless someone is swearing, or selling stuff on the board, the mods should just stay put. They are like umpires or referees....if they are doing a good job, you dont even notice them. If you notice them, they are doing something wrong.

Mj - I don't know what the problem is - whichever mod moved this over here is following the title - this is the Wheel, Tires and BRAKES forum. It can be beneficial to others that do not necessarily surf the SC forum.

And you are right, alot of thread s are moved because they belong in another section. Turbo/Supercharger related threads = F.I. section; Coilovers = Suspension section, wheels questions = this forum; for sale = classifieds.

Believe it or not, this forum gets a lot of views....more than the SC forum. Think about it...EVERYONE has wheels, tires and brakes. Not everyone has an SC. Simple concept. AND, your topic was answered. Last, but not least, this thread should have been posted in the site feedback forum. And will probably be moved due to it being in the incorrect forum.

All we are doing is trying to make life easier for folks...t makes navigatig easier when you do not have to surf through something you are not looking for.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

One can only conclude when asking for help on a "parking brake" you would ask in the "brakes forum". The subforums have really livened up since we have decided to make use of them. You can choose to use them, or we will put it there for you.

Since this has now turned into a thread for the site suggestion forum, i encourage you to start another one pertaining to your parking brake in the BRAKES forum. Thanks!
