The chat was really cool.
Talked to a lot of people on it.
Would be nice to have it back.

 

I was waiting to see if you got fifty people saying "oh yeah!, I'd be on there every day". In reality last time we had it VERY few people were ever on. Richie was the guy that used it most .

For a short term fix it might be easier to put your AIM/Yahoo on your profile and just invite folks to chat from time to time.

 

I wasn't the only one, LS400 (EPK) was there a lot too.

 

I would go in there quite a bit too. Now that there are alot more members here, I think the chat will be occupied more often. And the chat room that we had before seemed kind of prehistoric maybe a better chat program will make it worth while!!! Ya you can put your AIM down and all that but who wants to just talk to one person at a time I would rather talk to a bunch of random other users. Everyone leave a reply so that this can be put into place!

I would use it when time allowed, I don't think many ppl read this section so to get much response I bet this would need to be in the lobby or somewhere else.. I also run a small IRC network that could be used for chat, you could always throw up a irc.clublexus.com, I would even be willing to host it on one of my boxes.. then you could put a java based IRC client on CL or ppl could just download mIRC.. I offered this before but I don't think many ppl were interested in having chat at that time

 

I was thinking the same thing, this thread isnt going to get this post much attention, it would need to be moved to the lobby so we can get a better idea of how many people are interested. Could a mod move this to the lobby and maybe make it a vote thing-a-ma-bobber.
