Default Computer slowing down...

Hi,
Recently I have noticed big slowdown when I'm on your site, I have macbook pro and never had any issues till now. The massage comes up on top of the screen saying that this site significantly slowing your computer down and to close it. It slows down to a stand still and freezing most of the time. Is it my mac is too slow? I also noticed many more commercials than before. I know site is free for us but is there anything you can do to speed it up?
Thank you.

Are you typically browsing logged in? If not, definitely stay logged in as there are significantly fewer ads.

Might also consider using an ad blocker plug in on your browser

Thanks Dave, you were right, I logged in and no more issues, never knew not logging in could be a problem. How would I add ad blocker plug in ?
