Every time I search for something here it's always for a 1998, or an '06, or the thread's from 2010. I mean a LOT of the results I get are from 2010. Was there like some sale going on back then where Lexus was selling cars for 5000 dollars? This makes it tough because even though everyone lumps all IS's together they're not as similar as people would have you believe. Headlight adjusting, "pedal dance" for the tcs, stereos, etc etc. they're not the same cars. Is there another subsection of the second gens that can drill down even further for like maybe 2011 & up? A ton of threads that come up under "IS" simply don't apply to my car.
There has to be another way.

 

You might try going to the forum specific to your vehicle. That should cut down the number of hits you are getting. Otherwise use the "advanced search" function to set a cutoff point for your search - say "all posts within the past year", or you can write a more specific search string, using "2011 IS350 AWD".

 

I did everything but the "within the last year" option. I should try that. Yea, 3 more threads came up in my searches today, and you guessed it, two were from like eight years ago, and the other result was for a 2010 lexus... lol. It's like this board blew it load in 2010 and then everyone left lol.

 

Why don't you post what you are searching for so we can help show you how to narrow your search? It doesn't sound like you're using advanced search to narrow the forum you are selecting.
