Default Can't find my content/posts using search

Hi, it's been a while since I've posted and I need to refer back to my old posts.

I get no results when I search for my posts (55) ..... any way I can find my old posts today?

Thanks.

Same here, I cannot get any search results if I do a search query within a discussion thread or a username's posts.

Default Searching

I am sure this is going to be a dumb question for which I apologize. When I am searching in the forum, it is only retrieving threads from what appears to be the last 7 days. Is there a setting somewhere that limits the search?

Default What's wrong with the search function?

I can't get the search function to list any threads or posts older that 9-28-3013. What's going on?

I don't think it works as well as advanced search and search titles. I think that's as good as searching gets so I think they should change that search bar to those parameters.

lol ive been saying this for a long time now, the search function (for me anyways) barely works, it pulls up threads that have nothing to do with the topic I typed in.

The most frustrating part about it is everytime you ask a question here you get one of these teachers pets telling you to 'search'

If the mods feel the need to tell u to search that's one thing, but its gone way too far, every member now feels the need to say "go search" at least once in almost every thread.
