I turned on 'show sigs' option and all I get are 'x's for sigs...

With the upgrades Ethan is doing it appears some of the directory structure has changed where the images in the gallery are stored.

I had to:

1) locate the sig image I'd placed in the gallery
2) right click on the image and select properties
3) copy the address URL string including the .gif or .jpg extension
4) go into the User Control Panel (CP), select User Profile
5) paste the updated URL over the old one in the Signature line.

Yours for example would be:

https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/da.../33mygs3_8.XXX

replacing the XXX with .jpg extension.

 

paul, all you need to do is replace the "photo" that comes in the URL after .com/ to "gallery". that should clear everything up. maybe a mod could sticky this as a topic.....

Thanks guys - I wasn't talking about my own sig - I couldn't see ANYONE's sig. Looks to be ok now though.

 

Anybody that has their signature graphic (including your own signature that was a red 'x') hosted in the gallery will have the problem.

Bit- I think I might have linked you to a sig picture that was a 'bit' too big - sorry!

Ethan - if you read this can you advise if there are more changes still coming to the location & path to the gallery? I'm reluctant to make this a sticky unless the final updates are already in place.

 

That info needs to be in a sticky because it seems like I'm one of many who had/has this problem.

It should be fixed now.
