Default Slow Forum?

So I'm no computer geek, but I am on one at work all day. I get on a few other forums (s2ki.com, detailing forums, and a local car forum) each day and it seems Club Lexus, is really slow. No matter what computer I access Club Lexus on, it's still always way slow. I get the little ball moving (hour glass on older comps) loading thing all the time. Takes a while for pages to load etc. Never really noticed on other forums, but I feel like I can go and get a drink or water sometimes while a new thread loads. Anyone else notice this? May be because the forum is so large? Not sure, but even Honda Tech.com is fast and they are HUGE!

Never noticed this whatsoever, and I often have 10-12 tabs of different threads open at once.

to remedy the slow response, i block all the ad scripts and whatever scripts that dont interfere with the forum layout. for me, it is considerably quicker this way.

the recent problem i'm having is the threads no longer unbold(mark as read) after i finsh reading and press the back button. this began yesterday morning.

I am glad that I am not the only one who has noticed that this forum is slower than other sites. I thought it was my computer which is new.

Guys when CL is performing slow for you, please capture data and post in the thread sticky at the top of this forum.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sit...w-for-you.html

I definitely agree that some of the ads slow the site down (I browse probably 50/50 with / blocked) and if you see which ones show as loading for an extended period of time, please report it here so we can get it either removed or tuned.
