Angry Ordered JoeZ Intake From L-Tuned And...

It's been over a week, and I still haven't recieved my intake, so I contacted them, and they said, that they are waiting on a shipment of the JoeZ intake, and don't know when it will arrive, and they don't know if that shipment will include the "special edition" one that I ordered, so who knows how long it will be before I receive the intake!

Definitely NOT going to buy anything from them again, they should of took off the intake from their site from being bought if they didn't have any in stock.

Did they give you a lead time when you ordered? Or on the website?

Well I was expecting to pick it up myself, since its not too far from me, but the site keeps saying "in progress"....

I don't think they have charged me YET... I'm just frustrated, thinking everyday "okay may be today it will get shipped... NOPE"

Your best bet would be to PM JoeZ and inform him about this personally. He's a great guy and i'm sure he can help you out some how....

Hi Moe,

I recommend giving Luis a call Monday morning.

If he has none in stock, its going to be a while if you would really like the blue color.

It's very possible that their ordering system doesn't take into consideration when they run out or are about to run out.

We just gave him approx 20 Blue "Limited Edition" units in mid February..

Since they are limited production runs, we only make the Blue when they order a specific qty for their own inventory.

I know they have Black on hand.

If you wish to wait for the next batch, it will be approx 6-8 weeks, since I have a batch of new pipes in production right now.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Hey Joe,
Well if they don't have any blue edition ones in stock on monday, I think I will just go with the black, no biggie for me, I guess since I waited about 10 days now, waiting another couple of days won't hurt.

Although thanks for your reply, I appreciate your feedback.

BTW: Ever think of opening your own website for ordering your parts? lol, would make it eaiser on us folks here.

Hey Moe the black intake shipped out as requested color choice option. But I did want to make it clear that they first thing I did was let you know ahead of time that these were not in stock and would take a while because the blue ones are special order. You said ok, but once they still had not arrived I mentioned going with another color as an option.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I've ordered/bought parts from L-Tuned/Carson Toyota before. Luis has always been friendly, professional, and honest. I TOTALLY understand waiting for a part you ordered sucks, but that's just the way it is when you want something specific. Limited quantity items are worse. It's all about if you want to wait for the item you want as it was in this case. Well, glad to see you got your item shipped and will soon enjoy the growl of your IS. It is also nice that Joe Z is a Lexus owner and a CL member.
