I was in CLT's GB for the 98-00 side mirror covers and unfortunately, the driver side fitment is poor, and another member has the same problem. I can't even get mine to fit!

Anyways, I exchanged PMs with David nothing came out of it. The manufacturer that made the covers insist that I try to reinstall them, which I did at least 5 times. I last sent him a PM on Nov 1, but I didn't realize that he is no longer a CL Vendor, and is not accepting any more PM.

I RARELY take part in any GB sales unless I know the product being sold is worth it. At $100 (+ my own paint supplies), I thought it was a good idea, but fast forward a few weeks, I wish I hadn't bought the damn thing.

So what would you guys do? Should I file a claim with Paypal? I really don't want to because it's not David's fault, but I'm out of money and I'm stuck with something that's useless.

 

its reasons like this i wish that new vendors were vetted more carefully, or at least hit a requisite number of reputable sales before allowed to do a GB.....we've had a LOT of new vendors in the past year-year and a half.

I knew CLT was a good guy, that's why I bought the side mirrors from him.

I just sent him an email through his website so hopefully he gets back to me.

 

You might aswell charge that to the game.

 

David just emailed me back. He said he'll refund me half the price ($50). I guess only 1 of the 2 works so therefore, hence half the refund.

I do. I contacted him through his own website. It was just shocking to see that he was no longer a CL vendor. Didn't realize it has been 2 weeks since he cut his vendor status.
