Yes, the horizontal advertisement being placed in the vertical ad spot, causing exactly the same problem as the screen shot I posted.
This is happening to me now on a daily occurrence, but just once or twice, and always back to back. (2 consecutive clicks in a row.)

The Time Warner Cable ads are slowing down the surfing speed considerably, along with the occasional script error, and my browser asks me if I'd like to stop running it.
There have been a sudden influx of graphic heavy ads/flash content that IB pulls from content based info from each thread.
This timeout blankness happened about 5 minutes ago.

Hey Dave, for the last few days I've been getting problems trying to browse the forum. Pages either time out, stay there forever trying to load, or load the top banner only and then they say done. Every other website loads fine, so I rule my connection out. BTW, this is using 2 full AT&T T-1s.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Juanca - it's due to the ad issue (see other threads on this topic). Fix may have been identified (a Chevy ad with an error in it). Once that ad removal drops from rotation - takes a little time and was just pulled a couple of hours ago - we should find out.
Today during my usually morning browsing through the forum most pages loaded fine, however I have problems loading the main forum's page (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/index.php), it stays there forever trying to load (it doesn't show anything, just a blank page with the loading icon in the IE tab). If I stop the page and refresh it, it'll eventually load. I hope this helps trying to find the problem.
