Default Why is "True Ice Blue / Red caps for the clusters !!" a sticky.

Of all the important things to have as a sticky why is that thread one of them....

Isn't it about time to have a "how to thread" collection as a sticky?

This is probably because one of the forum moderators owns Lextech lighting, and probably donates money to this forum.

Having that as a sticky doesn't seem very important. If anything, there should just be a thread listing all of the lexus vendors and what they do. Not a book about some caps that make your backlight colored? A how to search sticky would have sufficed and made some people's days a lot easier.

I agree, there are dozens or VERY important threads in this section and the performance section that really should be stickys

I dont see other vendors with stickys in this section or the performance and suspension sections.

It was stickied a long time ago when every other day there was a question about caps.

Project for you all.

I want your top five threads that should be stickied.

Give me five for each section...Engine, Suspension, and General.

It seems there is not a day that goes by without someone asking something about a 1JZ swap or info yet I don't see CCC-T's long informative thread on that subject stuck up there. All we have is a turbo video thread on the performance section <LOL really ???

I have a 1J which is why I made this an example. I do notice the same for 2J swaps, bushings how-to, the V8 manual transmission swap.

Fine...Give me links. The best threads to be stickied to the top of each section.

If things need to be merged just put "merge" between them.

I agree that the cluster thread shouldn't be a sticky but it comes with being started by OLT and the fact he has monetary interest in more people seeing that thread. What should be there as a sticky however (IMHO), is an FAQ thread or post (many already exist) where all the DIY and HowTo posts should be included for quick access to them. Yes, a search is fine to find them but it would be nice to check just 1 thread or post. Not always do I find a thread I know exists by a simple search (ie...not all transmission threads will come up if you don't search for all spellings of that word which include transmission, tranny, trans, etc.) Just my opinion...
