Default Page Transition

Mike,
I like the page transition when I load into the forum, but when going into the specific sections and reading the posts, I find the transition to be slower at loading the pages. I don't know what others think, but if the slow transition happened only when one loaded the main page of the forum that would be nice, since the sections and posts are slow at loading to me. I assume most are on a broadband connection, like me, as well. Thanx and keep up the good work with this site.

Thanks for the input. I am playing with transitioning from page to page times. Right now it is set to one second but I will test it at a quicker pace. It is a client-side process nothing done to the server so bandwidth is not a consideration.

I do like the transitions as it makes the site appear more seamless but does take some getting used to. Normally I am not a big fan of transitioning effects but I think with some experimentation it will work.

Makes us more unique.

Okay...Now it looks better at .5 second with a overlap. Now if I could only make it talk back...

Mike,
Thanks, the .5 second is a lot better than before. I appreciate it.

Perhaps we can make this a setting in the user's profile? I personally don't want transitions on all page changes.

Any update on this Michael? The site's really doing great, but I don't like the transitions... sorry.
