Default itrader?

Dave, have you ever thought about using itrader for CL?
A couple of other forums I frequent use the system and it works great.
It would get rid of the feedback forum and allow people to easily track down information on how previous sales have went.

Just a suggestion

Google ......
This is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other (presumably on a FS section of your forum). It is somewhat based on the honor system since there is no automatic way to truly tell if they did engage in a transaction. iTrader came about because it was a pain to try and maintain a single thread listing good / bad traders and so far has worked out quite well.

Features:
Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
Leave multiple comments about the deal
Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
Specify a thread URL to the deal
Advanced URL checking
Display ratings over time
Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
iTrader Admins can edit/delete anyone's ratings (just incase)
PM notification when new rating or comment is left

sounds good, I dont know if this goes along with what itrader does, but i dont want one of those rating systems that my.is has where people are rated, and you see posts like, nice rims, + rating or something like that...i think its kind of lame

I suspect that's reputation feature you're thinking of... it gets abused too often IMO, we won't turn it on here.

There's a Japanese car forum I post on here in Mexico from time to time and this issue where people are rated is problematic...turns into a game of style points.

Its really like the ebay rating system. You rate the seller/buyer on the transaction.

Yup. I can't wait for our forum to have this system. I think it's a great idea.

Sorry you are incorrect in your recollection.

Not likely as that would be a manual process for hundreds of threads. More likely we'd archive the old buy/sell for a period of time (like a year) and give members and opportunity to put in new feedback.

There is no ETA for this, it is a plug in I've asked about for the future as I think it would be valuable.
