I've had it guys
A moderator needs to be flexible and informative. Post a reason before closing a thread or at least RE-DIRECT users to the other that is still open. I believe that is one of your responsibilities as a moderator/forum leader.

To whom it may concern,
Please consider our suggestions.
I'm talking from my own experience.
I'm a moderator in one of some big forums in this cyber world. I don't need to tell the name of the forum, but FYI: We have 255,423 members & 107,786 active members from around the world. Approximately about 2000 users browsing/posting our forum each day! ---> you guys understand how much bandwith is being used each day, right?

CL is NOTHING compare to our forum's traffic flow.
In our forum re-post is also enforced, but moderators are always friendly & open-minded to users. Keep in mind that a forum growth depends on users -- those who contribute to a forum (especially to the old timers), NOT the moderators.
A forum should be a fun place to socialize, people talk/share things to each other. So it is common if a topic is being discussed for several times.
No need to get offended, I'm just giving you a hint/advice of how a forum should be organized.
My forum & CL started pretty much at the same time.
However the growth is somewhat different.

Some experienced members (even some who have posted in this thread) complain that people repost the same thing over and over again and get tired of seeing the same things posted. When that happens, many give a 'search first you dumbass' response to those posts or flame the person who didn't search, or post a picture of a klingon
yet when its a re-post x 10 that you participate in it's suddenly the most important thing in the world to stay open. Recognize this conflict please... If you have suggestions on how to make that situaton workable without taking 10x the moderator time to constantly join all those threads together every time the same post or question comes up I'm certainly open to listening. I guess need to again ask all of you to respond to those threads in a totally different manner to do your part in helping this forum out. Those of you that want to frolic with **** and NWS material, I refer you to the rest of the internet. CL is restrictive on that material for many reasons, not the least of which are keeping our sponsors and allowing members to surf our forum from work safely without fearing losing their jobs. I'm sorry but that is not going to change.
If you have specific issues with moderators, PM me with specific examples as they occur and I promise I'll look into them.
Please PM me your constructive suggestions and comments please.
