question about selling a PS3?

You locked the PS3 for sale ad but you left the XBOX ad right undernithe it open, why? I did see that he mention something about it being auctioned but I've seen you tell peole before thats this ain't a aucion site and must post a price, then you give them time to do that. Why did you you automaticlly lock the thread. IMHO which doesn't mean much here I think thats really unfair.
I have a PS3 and about to post it here for the heck of it, But I'm just throwing it on Ebay now.
May sound like I have a atitude but I really don't, just asking a question.

I posted the reasons (two of them) in that thread. This approach is consistent with what we did with the xbox360 and other similar items in past years. I just formalized it.

I went back and seen what you added. But a first all you had was "........no........." and that wasen't right IMO but now you have stated why and even added a new rule which cleary states everything.

16. No price gouging While we don't expect items to be given away for free on our forum, the reason we have these classifieds is to help each other out. If you are lucky enough to have a 'new hot item' (example: Xbox 360 or PS/3 when first released) enjoy it. If you want to make a big profit off your fellow man, take it to ebay or to craigslist and more power to you. We aren't going to enable your lust for profit by letting you post extremely overpriced items here on CL. This rule is enacted at classified moderator and administrator's discretion.
