These are not really pop-ups but I have no clue how to call those damn windows that pop up when I scroll through a post. Some of the words are in green and when ever I move the cursor over those green words those damn popups come out and stay there too long!

Is there a way to take them off?

 

Search for 'intellitext' in this forum, I think someone posted a way to work around it.

I've proposed that we turn them off as a benefit for donating members when we enable that in the future. They do serve a purpose that if you click on one CL gets some $$.

Is it just me or have they gotten more invasive recently? Larger pop up boxes than they used to be?

I have noticed the same thing and yes it is getting worse..

 

yea they are a little different. Maybe they redesigned them. Definitely more intrusive.

I had them blocked for awhile, but I had to clean out the PC and havent reinstalled the program.

 

CL costs a lot of bank to keep running and Ethan cannot be expected to keep losing on this investment, but personally I just feel that CL deserves better than forum spam by non vendors.

JMO.

I thought I was going crazy, glad its not just me. They seem to be a little bigger and they seem to be everywhere now. I guess if it keeps the site free I could deal with it.
