I hopes its an April fools joke ....but its too early

 

I guess coming up with a few and letting members vote on it was out of the question huh? Gotta give it a 'blah' only because the previous one was so hot but I'll get we'll get used to it in time.

 

I have a feeling this logo was imposed because of Lexus copyright issues...

 

The font type doesn't fit the overall design/layout of the site.

 

A suggestion of mine...something which doesn't use the Lexus Circle-L logo...

 

I dont like it.

Mainly because of the "CL" and Club Lexus Side by side.. It is just too much.
SHould be incorporated just like how enigma has it.
Needs a better font choice..

no offense but it looks to cartoony...the previous logo was serious and i guess more lexus type...

 

I think there should be a CL Logo re-design contest. Winner gets a small award or just knowing that they designed something that is used on the greatest car forum in the world!! lol.

 

I was going for 'sporty' but I can see where you're coming from...the original logo had serifed fonts, etc, plus the Lexus logo.

Part of the reason is also color, orange is following what is currently on the site now, and it is 'flashy'.

Mike, you probably know what's going on...................so, was it something to do with the Lexus "L"?

will there be consideration on something diffrent?........maybe something classier or more official ....no offense

 

I like the idea of using the emblem (if possible) as it makes it look "official" as someone earlier said. Maybe get a "C" and "L" out of the emblem somehow without using the complete symbol.

There can be no Lexus 'L' and no Alexis font as used in many of the examples above.

The functionality of CL isn't changing, but the site will be getting a facelift soon that better match the logo currently displayed.

If those that want to come up with other suggestions (meeting the criteria above only please) to post, have at it .

 

Clearly then no one should be able to mistake any corporate ties to this website, as it is not "official"...
