is there a way to make the date on threads older than a year GLOW RED and BOLD? That will attract attention to people who search for those old old threads.

 

Good idea, don't think there is any native VBulletin way to do that.

Only thing I think we could do without modifying the app (which we try to stay away from) is to archive the old posts out of the main forums, which would make it less convenient to search.

 

that would indeed be inconvenient. But if we make it aware to all members that we have a separate ARCHIVE section for threads older than 2 years and have no activity for more than 1 year.
