maybe its my computer, maybe its my connection, but it's always blazing fast for me. maybe it's not necessarily 100% CL's problem?

(sorry i'm so late getting to this )

I believe that some threads of the forum where being deleted and moved around. This will cause a degredation in performance during high traffic times.

yes this site is super duper slow compared to other forums like honda-tech. honda-tech is really fast, maybe its how they set theirs up? anyone know of any other lexus sites? the search option isn't that great either i'd say. i get a lot of bs threads coming up. maybe i'm not putting in the right keywords.

Definitely aware of the speed issue with the site, our tech folks are working on optimization and detection of the cause. Honda Tech is not on the same software we use.

Search problem is user error though That you can refine using advanced search options.

roadrunner...even the same says its fast.

its not 56K slow...it just takes an extra 6 seconds for the page to load. Hitting refresh helps.

Gah there was a glitch just now. I posted in the Car Chat forum and it took awhile to post. After the page load up, Holy moley. You thought double or triple posts were bad? Try at least 10 posts or so! I tried to delete the others one by one, but turns out, all my posts were deleted. heh. Funny though because one message was posted at 2:51, the next at 2:52, then 2:51, and it goes back and forth.

Could this site benefit from donations towards hardware/bandwidth upgrades? Id be willing to donate a few funds if I knew it would go towards noticeable upgrades--Im on this site way too often!

Appreciate the offer, we may reinstate donations at some point in the future.

We're making some changes to our configuration and maintenance schedule that hopefully will help.

honda-tech is quick, but I hate their forum format.

I think Clublexus is having way too many updates which are not adding any value to the site except it's getting slower and I still can't upload photos to the gallery which I used to do no problem. Guys, if it ain't broke don't fix it...

I'm using IE7 with a fiber optic cable connection. Not slow, but not as fast as I would expect. Sometimes when pushing the back button or forward button it would hesitate for a little bit, nothing to worry about. Yes I noticed the difference, but it is nothing to worry about.
