Default Where to put feedback for companies?

Mods,

Wanted to post about some recent experiences I have had with trying to buy some car parts online. This is to help other people. Where would this go? It was not with CL members or sponsors.

Thx,
Jonny

This could be a new CL section I also have feedback on companies I've worked with. (detailing, bodyshop, paintshop)

Sorry, somehow missed this until I just saw your post.

Good idea, but limited on funding to add something like this at the moment.

For vendor feedback right now, put in the appropriate regional forum where the store is located. For Lexus dealers, put in maintenance forum.

Opening a section like this might create legal issues and if not, a headache in general.

First, we have vendors here who pay to be on our forums. If we open a section on non-sponsoring vendors, it is only fair to let these vendors defend themselvs. How will this fit into the current vendor policy? Will this raise legal issues of slander?

Second, how do we prevent people like this (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=183696) from posting in this section and how do we confirm that the poster is telling the truth?

The best solution is to get to know know your local car enthusiasts and ask them where they get their work done. If you are looking for an online vendor, don't just settle for the cheapest price. I have recently switched to a vendor that does charge a little to alot more but shipment and communication is always prompt and I am always confident that any product defects will be taken care of immediately.

Well,

This is a public forum and any posts here that are expressed are not endorsed by Clublexus. Secondly, it is not slander if it is true.

As for defending themselves - they can feel free to come on here and defend themselves against the persons statements.

We can't confirm what it truthful and what is not - see sentence 1.

I meant the feedback for online vendors only - they don't all have to be bad. I took the advice of someone on here and it turned out that I was not treated well at all.

I do understand your points however.

Dave - as for the regional section - generally people do not pay much interest as to where the online store is located so I don't think that would help.

I do understand the cost issues though.

Thx for your replies guys,
Jonny
