Sure, I'm not saying he does. Just saying that to avoid threads like this one, perhaps a short explanation would be in order.

We usually do that, or PM the thread starter, or merge it with the other active thread that is going. Sometimes every now and then it doesn't happen.

It does take a lot of extra work on the mods part to take the 'friendly' approach when reposts, etc occur but sometimes we get pulled away on something else or just don't have time. Very seldom does anyone ever thank them for taking the extra time to do it "the right way" either, btw, so there isn't a lot of personal gratification in doing it.

I'd also make a suggestion that members put the posts in the appropriate forums and please search before posting something that is very likely to already be under discussion. If a thread gets closed and you don't know why, use the PM feature to contact a moderator or use this site suggestions forum rather than opening up 'why was my thread locked' complaint threads (using inappropriate language btw - don't do that again please).
