RX Forum Screen Pointer Tips Too Brief
Going through the forum threads looking for threads of interest, when I place, and r e s t, my pointer over the thread titles on the forum form, the screen tip that is a great feature (in the beige balloon showing the text of the post) only remains visible for about 5 seconds which isn't enough time for me to read the initial post the tip reveals.
Two requests:
1) the tip reveal time needs to be at least 20 seconds imo to allow time to read the often lengthy text in the post, and hey why limit the tip at all????
2) how about showing the thread's first post in the tip when the pointer is over the thread title as it is now - AND then showing the LAST post available when resting the pointer over the last-post arrow indicator?

The tip is only meant to give you enough information to decide if you want to open and read the full thread. If I could change it I would, but there doesn't seem to be an option. I went to two other forums running the same version of the software and it does exactly the same thing. Sorry!

Dave, thks, I recommend you pass on to the manufacturer of the forum system my suggestion that they change the time of the tip display. I beta test for others and fwiw there is no reason I know of that should limit tip display time. When one is scrolling threads for information, one needs to be able to read the post, I find I bail on many I would otherewise read because I don't know what the thread is really about and most of us don't have the time to read all the information available in these great forums. I'll betcha they can fix it easily as these posts are too long to read easily.
