With the 400H about ready to roll out is it time to split this forum like the GS and IS into a few subforums?

 

Just a suggestion, wouldn't it be wise to keep the RX330 grouped with the RX400h since 1) they are similar body styles and 2) newer models ('04 and up) ??

 

I agree.. I, along with several others, have made this suggestions many times with no success.

The 400H is not a new generation design. The new gen GS and IS are completely new from the ground up.

The RX400H is to the RX330 much like what the GS300 is to the GS400 is to the GS430. I mean maybe from a technology standpoint, this is a more significant leap... but regardless, it's not an all new model by any means from the 330.

 

DD, yes imo these area clearly different vehicles deserving of their own space.

 

That was then, but This is Now! This seems to make more sense than ever. Among other things, it will reduce thread clogging. Sounds reasonable, don'cha think? ~ 400h's are at the port. = Showtime!

 

FX2, I'd say it is long overdue especially now that they have made the break with a few of the other forums. I am tired of slogging through all those threads for that 330 (Iwish I had)!

I recommend separate RX300, 330 and 400h forums. Or by the very least 300/330 and 400h forums.

The 400h is way too different to share with the 330.

Moderators- the new split is great but the titles of the forums confusing. I think you need to put the old relic 300 posts onto the subthread called "First Generation 300" (this is what you called the GS forums, and leave your main thread for all the latest stuff, and that is where first-time users etc. will look and more and more of those 'll be 330/400 users. Then leave the main stickys for 400h etc. on the main forum, all the old 300 stuff will be on the subthread.
