Ethan it would be great if the search results could be sorted by the last post date. Right now if many hits come up a newer thread could be way down in the list on 2nd or subsequent pages, making it less useful or at least tedious to wade through the results.

Paul if you use the Advanced search feature you have the option of sorting by date....hope this helps...

 

on a side note, a newer thread hit in search could (and most likely is) someone telling the other person to search on the topic from an older thread. in this sense a newer thread would be a burden.
