Default XM Installation Thread

Why has my thread with the XM installation question been moved? It seems that everytime I ask a question on this forum it gets moved. No one ever sees it and I can never get answers. What's the deal???

My guess is that it was moved because it belongs in the electronics forum. The mod prolly moves the thread based on where it belongs under different topics. And there isn't as much traffic in the other forums but they are moved to where they belong. Sorry man hope this helps.

Perhaps the fact that "everytime" you post a question on the forum and it gets moved means that you aren't putting your posts in the right place when you post them . I mean this in the nicest way possible, but if you don't put them in the right forum in the first place, they ARE going to get moved when the moderators see them whether you like it or not. I do ask you help reduce the overhead of moving them by trying to put them in the right place to start off with. Electronics questions like the one that was moved in the Electronics forum. Exhaust, intake suspension question in the right spot. Even THIS post was in the wrong place, it belongs in the Site Questions forum .

If you notice there is still a 'redirect' on posts that are moved that members in the GS forum will see, and (if they are intersted ) they can open to take them directly to your post. 18 People have already looked at it in the last 1/2 hour since your post. Consider that not many people will have XM radio, so you're not going to get a huge response.

Sorry. My bad. I spent a year in the SC430 forum and don't remember ever having a post moved regardless of subject, but I also realize it doesn't get anywhere near the traffic this one gets.

Just didn't know. Now I do. Thanks for the explanation.

You hit the nail on the head!

The GS forum gets a little over 10 times the traffic of the SC430 forum each day and with the higher volume of topics it's much harder to follow / organize. We sometimes move stuff in the SC430 forum too, but with the lower volume, smaller number of members and some of the unique features (runflats for example) more posts stay in the main forum area.

Thanks for understanding
