There are no good tires for 21" wheels. Use 20" or better, 18" wheels.

I appreciate the comments but nevertheless I plan to keep the 21” wheels since I don’t use 4 WD except when it snows which isn’t often in Alabama or on the occasion I launch boats.
Just trying to find out people’s experiences with the Yokohama Geolander and the Dunlop Wintermax tires.

My Tundra wheels are definitely not the TRD version(s)...I was looking for something simple and not too pricey. Local Lexus dealer had a set of Tundra take-off's...simple, basic, steel wheels. But great for winter tires where the truck may not get washed and waxed once a week. I got all 4 with correct lug nuts, TPMS senders, and hub caps for $200, and had Blizzaks mounted. They normally go on in mid-November, and off around late March. If you decide to go the budget route, be aware that lug nuts are VERY different on steel wheels v. oem aluminum...lug nut torque on oem wheels is 99 ft./lb., but around 140 ft./lb. for steel wheels.

Your price is great. I'd advertise them in the marketplace here and also on ih8mud.com.

Thanks, hankinid. If I don't sell them locally within a few days maybe we can make a deal. It's easier to sell locally obviously but I've shipped wheels before.

Hey all
Side question but related - I changed my wife's 16 LX rims to a Tundra 18" wheels. She was getting the standard maintenance at our Lexus dealership (Park Place Lexus, Plano, TX) and the service advisor said that non-factory rims are not good for the LX and to switch back to the 21s.
Is there any truth to this? The car rides and drives fine, TPMS sensors etc all calibrated so unsure how to take the SA's comments - my wife is freaked out because she thinks the rims are unsafe or something.
I think other markets (i.e. Asia, Russia) use smaller rims for the LC/LX anyway...

Your wife is definitely SAFE...any steel or aluminum rim with five 14mm holes on a 150mm bolt-center-diameter, and the correct inside diameter big hole in the middle will work...Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, or LX. I guarantee the service advisor at Park Place has seen non-stock LX wheels.
21 inch wheels are, simply, a bastard diameter...as you've noticed.
