Have a 1999 Lexus LS400 wiring harness manual.

Probably very similar to 1998.

I recall early 1998 had the 1995-1997 type steering column and the tilt/telescopic motors are different...so the general wiring harness configuration may differ.

Do you require harness diagram for engine compartment or cabin?

Your control head may be kaput..so perhaps worth obtaining a spare to see if results.

Be very careful.when removing the center vent..

If you are unsure how to remove it, then pay someone to extract it
