Is it ok to leave the park assist on at all times?

Default Is it ok to leave the park assist on at all times?
Is it ok to leave the park assist activated at all times or should it only be used when parking? Also is HUD standard on the NX or is it part of premium package?

Yes it can be on all the time.

No it's not standard.

Hi, do you know which package the HUD comes with or was it a standalone option?

I've always left Park Assist on at all times on all of my Lexus cars including the NX.

HUD is part of certain packages up here in Canada and definitely not standard across the board.

I really don't know why Lexus doesn't offer the panoramic sunroof and HUD to all countries? Those seem like options all would desire.

The only time I turn Park Assist off is while waiting at a drive thru window. Sometimes there are bushes that set it off so it’s easier to just turn it off for a few minutes.

Agreed. Except I only hand wash so I can’t say I have experienced that.
